THE POWER OF SEED OILS

Organic seed oils contain antioxidants, phytonutrients and offer a variety of skin benefits. High quality seed oils are beneficial for your skin as they act as a moisturizing and protective layer when applied. Some seed oils have recently come under scrutiny given potential health concerns associated with consuming certain seed oils.

Seed oils that end up in your food are typically industrialized, poorly sourced, highly processed, and extracted using high heat or chemicals. These oils can contain high levels of a type of polyunsaturated fatty acid called omega-6 fatty acids, particularly linoleic acid.

We use USDA Certified Organic High Oleic seed oils which are high-quality, expeller pressed without heat or chemicals, well-sourced, and full of nutritional content. High Oleic seed oils consist primarily of monounsaturated fat (oleic acid). Oleic acid is highly moisturizing, protective, and helps rejuvenate aging skin.
